Call for Editorial Board Members

The Journal of Wound Medicine invites applications and nominations for the following academic positions:

Candidates with strong academic background, research publications, and prior editorial or peer-review experience are encouraged to apply. Specialization in Wound Care, Regenerative Medicine, Tissue Engineering, Chronic Wound Management, Biomaterials, and Clinical Wound Research will be preferred.

The Journal of Wound Medicine is committed to maintaining high ethical and scientific standards. The journal follows internationally recognized guidelines including:

• COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) – for publication ethics and handling of misconduct.
• ICMJE Recommendations – for authorship criteria and manuscript preparation.
• PRISMA Guidelines – for systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
• ARRIVE Guidelines – for reporting animal research.

Authors are expected to ensure that their submissions comply with relevant reporting standards based on the study design. Manuscripts may be returned for revision if they do not meet the appropriate guideline requirements.

The journal is currently working toward strengthening its editorial processes, expanding its reviewer database, and improving visibility within the academic community. Future initiatives include structured indexing preparation, DOI registration system development, and digital archiving enhancements.
