Author Guidelines & Manuscript Preparation Standards
All manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format using Times New Roman, font size 10, single spacing, with 1-inch margins on all sides. Page numbers must be included at the bottom center.
Level 1: Bold, Left Aligned
Level 2: Bold, Left Aligned
Level 3: Italic, Left Aligned
Manuscripts should be organized in the following order:
• Title Page
• Abstract (250–300 words)
• Keywords (3–6 terms)
• Introduction
• Materials and Methods
• Results
• Discussion
• Conclusion
• Acknowledgment
• Conflict of Interest Statement
• References
The Journal of Wound Medicine accepts the following reference styles. Authors must use one style consistently throughout the manuscript:
• APA (7th Edition)
• ASA (American Sociological Association)
• Vancouver (Numbered – Square Brackets [1])
• Vancouver (Superscript Numerical ¹)

Authors are advised to ensure complete bibliographic information, including DOI (if available), volume, issue, and page numbers. All references must be formatted consistently according to the selected style.

All figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi). Each figure should be numbered consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2).
Figure legends must appear below the figure and clearly describe the content without referring back to the main text.
Tables must be editable (not images). Each table should include a clear title above the table. Tables must be cited in the manuscript text sequentially.
Authors must confirm that:
• The work is original and unpublished.
• Ethical approval was obtained (if applicable).
• Informed consent was secured for human studies.
• No plagiarism or data fabrication is involved.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit, originality, and relevance to wound medicine.
